It appears that a new eruption has started or is about to start in Eyjafjallajökull. At current time there has been no visual observation. That might be due to weather or because the eruption is currently under the glacier. It is hard to know for sure at this moment. If the eruption is taking place under the glacier there might be some time before it breaks up from the glacier that is on top of it. But when that happens there is going to be a ash cloud that is going to be visible. There is also going to be glacier flood in this area that might cover a large area.
Tourist in the area advised to follow the authorizes evacuation orders in that area.
